Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to the Tradeline Authority Vault after purchase on Gumroad. Using the Vault means you agree to them.
1) Who We Are
Tradeline Authority (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides a private, members-only learning environment (the “Vault”) that contains educational content, tools, templates, and community resources related to consumer reporting and compliance topics.
2) Acceptance of These Terms
By purchasing access (currently processed by Gumroad) and using the Vault, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Vault. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the update date above and, when practical, notify members via email or in-app notice. Continued use means acceptance.
3) Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- Your login is for you only (single user). Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
- You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account.
4) Payments, Access & Renewals
- Checkout and payment are handled by Gumroad and are subject to Gumroad’s terms and privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers.
- After purchase, Gumroad grants you access to the Vault. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.
- Refunds are not guaranteed. Where allowed by law and platform policy, we may consider reasonable requests; otherwise, all sales are final once content is accessed/downloaded.
5) License to Use the Vault
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Vault for personal learning or internal business training. You may not reproduce, resell, republish, redistribute, scrape, archive, mirror, or create derivative works from Vault content; use automated means (bots/crawlers) to extract or index content; or use Vault materials to train AI models without our written permission.
6) Educational Use Only
The Vault provides education and tools. It is not legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice, and does not create an attorney-client or other professional relationship. Results are not guaranteed. You are responsible for your compliance programs and decisions.
7) Your Responsibilities & Prohibited Uses
- Use the Vault lawfully and ethically; don’t submit false information or misuse consumer data.
- No infringement, reverse engineering, decompiling, or circumvention of access controls.
- No sharing of paid files, private links, or credentials outside your organization.
- No harassment or unprofessional conduct in any community or support channels.
8) Member Content (If/When Available)
If we offer comments, forums, or uploads, you remain responsible for your posts and warrant that you have rights to share them. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display such content in the Vault solely to operate and improve the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
9) Third-Party Services & Links
Some features link to external services (e.g., government websites, CRAs, mail/PDF tools, Gumroad). Those are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Links open in a new tab. When you return, your Vault session may have expired and you may need to sign in again.
10) Intellectual Property
All Vault content is owned by Tradeline Authority or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “Tradeline Authority” and related marks may not be used without permission.
11) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or harm to other members. You may cancel at any time through your Gumroad account or by contacting us. Sections intended to survive (e.g., licenses, IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity) survive termination.
12) Disclaimers
The Vault and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Vault will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tradeline Authority will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Vault. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Vault access in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
14) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tradeline Authority, its owners, and staff from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Vault, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by U.S. federal law and—where state law applies—the laws of the state of our principal place of business, without regard to conflicts-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, the parties will try to resolve disputes informally in good faith within 30 days after written notice. Either party may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. Otherwise, disputes shall be heard in the state or federal courts located in our principal place of business, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
16) Miscellaneous
- If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- No waiver occurs unless in writing and signed by us.
- You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
- These Terms are the entire agreement regarding the Vault.
